Students in the College Readiness class, researched sized and prices of dorm. They then taped off the floorplan and furniture to get a real feel of the size of a dorm room. The also labeled it with the location and price for other students to see.

Students in Mrs. Taylor's class reviewed the basic Excel skills by creating a Battleship game board and playing with their classmates.

On this Veteran's Day we wish to say a big "Thank you" to all those who have served in any branch of the military. The CHS Social Studies department had their students and teachers bring in picture of family and friends who have served in the military to create this amazing bulletin board! #VeteransDay

Dr. Branson came to Mrs. Taylor's College Readiness class to talk to students about interacting with college professors and hints to be successful at college. #SEMO #collegereadiness


Students toured Murray State University.


Mrs. Verseman's Anatomy class were completing a unit on skin and how the skin recovers from injury. Wednesday's lesson was the Grey's Anatomy Burn lab. In an effort to see what burns look like, how to identify degrees of burns, what they look like and how they affect the skin, students used a variety of household ingredients to recreate the life-like burns.

The CHS AFJROTC Honor Guard led the SEMO Homecoming Parade this weekend. They did a great job and represented CHS proudly




FBLA will be hosting a blood drive on Friday Nov. 4th at Cape Central High School. Come save a life and support this wonderful organization.


NHS (National Honor Society) students came in early on their day off to serve teachers breakfast and pass out thank you cards to teachers. What an awesome way to start out the day!


On Thursday and Friday teachers meet on multiple topics. Some of those included intruder training, identification of students with dyslexia, and incorporating digital escape rooms to name a few.
