September 29, 2025
Dear CGPS Families,
We want to make you aware that this afternoon’s bus routes may run a little later than usual due to several drivers being out unexpectedly. Our transportation team has made adjustments to ensure all students get home safely.
The bus routes below will most likely be running late:
ECC/PreK – All ECC and PreK routes
Alma Schrader Elementary– All routes
Franklin Elementary– Route 8
Jefferson Elementary– Route 11 and Route 16
Terry W. Kitchen Central Junior High– Route 8
We understand that these changes may cause minor delays, and we sincerely apologize for the short notice. Please know that our top priority is to get every student home as quickly and safely as possible.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Sincerely,
CGPS
We are hosting free developmental screenings on October 10th, November 21st, February 20th, and April 10th. Children ages six months to 34 months who reside in our school district's attendance zone can attend. Families will have to sign up for the screenings by following the directions here.

Happy Friday, Tigers!
We hope you had a fantastic first week. We're so glad to have everyone back!
We’re excited to launch something new: CT Friday Fab 3.
Each week, we’ll highlight three great things happening in our school family in a short video. This idea has been brought to life by Jas Dickey, a former Cape Central High Tiger, SkillsUSA Nationals medalist, and now our video intern. 🎥 You may have seen her on a billboard around town for her SkillsUSA medal!
🌟 CT Friday Fab 3
1. Welcome Back!
